I am a BACP accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, holding a postgraduate diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling, and a Certificate in couples counselling; I abide by the BACP code of conduct and ethics. I am in ongoing supervision. Before starting my counselling training in the late 90s, I worked in the City of London, latterly as Training Manager for Clyde & Co, Solicitors. I have over twenty years' experience working with clients ranging in age from 16 to 60s, and whose issues cover a wide range, including:
"How much does it cost?"
My fee is currently £65 for a 55 minute individual session, and £75 for a couple. I also have a limited number of places for clients who cannot afford the full fee; if this applies to you, we can negotiate a lower rate.

- cultural issues, particularly for people from a Pakistani background [I am half Pakistani and lived in Pakistan for four years as a child], who may be finding it difficult to adjust, coming under pressure to conform to certain cultural and/or religious norms, or being pressured into marriage
